On Saturday, December 2, from 10:00a.m. until 4:00p.m., Brian and Sharron Wharram-Spry will once again open their Christmas tree farm up to the community, with 100% of the proceeds from the day going  to Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation’s Light Up a Life campaign.

Located at 8329 Danforth Road (just East of Burnham Street), you can just pick up one or cut one down. All trees other than fir trees are priced at just $70, with firs priced at $100.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Spry family for hosting this fundraiser for the ninth year in a row, and to the many volunteers and event sponsors who help make this possible,” says Megan Fluxgold, NHH Foundation Community Engagement and Events Specialist. “Each year, we are pleased to see both new and returning faces join us to hunt for their perfect tree and support our hospital. In addition to offering a festive and fun opportunity for our community, this event has raised more than $143,000 over the past eight years – simply incredible!”

Santa will be on hand to get in on selfies. Mrs. Claus will join him.

In addition, there will be a complimentary chili lunch, hot chocolate, coffee and treats around a warm bonfire.

Those not looking to purchase a tree are still invited to attend to enjoy the festivities for a donation to the hospital.

This year’s event is sponsored by Baker Tilly, Wharram Tree Service Ltd., Craft Food House, Ley Hall Wealth Management, and Davey Tree Service.

\All proceeds from the day will be donated to NHH Foundation’s Light Up a Life campaign, which will help support the purchase of an Automatic Tablet Packager for the NHH Pharmacy.
